A few photos...

This post is going to be filled with photos. I thought it would be a good idea to post a few photos of some of the things we have done over the last several days. It's been really hot, but we have managed to stay busy.

Last Friday, Aug. 1, we went to the fair. It's always a great place to go and people watch. I just can't believe how expensive it is to go to the fair. You have to pay a small fortune to get in, eat and let the kids ride a few rides. The kiddie rides are now about $3-4 a piece. Rediculous, but the kids had a great time.

Here are a few photos from the fair:

This was the first thing the kids rode. They were motorcycles that went around in a circle. Taylor was really excited and had some great expressions on her face.

Zachary really wanted to ride the coaster. They weren't tall enough to ride by themselves, so Darrell and I said we would ride with them. It was such a small coaster that by the end I was begging to be let off and I love thrill rides...not that this is close to a thrill ride...although it was put together by carnies...so who know!

The next few photos are of us on the ferris wheel. Last year when we went to the fair, the kids really wanted to ride it, but were not tall enough. This year they were tall enough to ride with an adult. So, we all rode it. Zachary was so funny. When we were at the top, he swore he could see Oklahoma...he was looking in the right direction!

So, that sums up the fair in a few photos.

We had a good weekend. My birthday was on Monday. The kids and Michael bought me a new watch.

On Tuesday, we were doing our usual, "trash night" routine and while we were outside, Michael turned the sprinklers on. Not sure why, but we left them on so the kids could run and play in them for a while. They were fully clothed and by the end were trying to strip down in the front yard because they didn't like the feeling of wet clothes.

Today, we went with our playgroup friends to the fountains at Jordan Valley. This is somewhere the kids have a lot of fun.

Hope everyone is having a great week!!
