August!!!!

I can't believe it is already the first of August...I think I say that at the beginning of almost every month :o) This summer is just going by really fast. The kids will start back to school before the end of the month. I can't believe they will be in Pre-K. I really hope they enjoy their last year of preschool. Makes me a little sad to think that next year they will be elementary school students.

This week, the kids have been doing Vacation Bible School. Last night we went to church and watched the kids put on their VBS program. They sang several songs and then we watched a video of the kids during their week at VBS. I had went on Tuesday and taken several photos of all the kids at VBS and was happy to see they used some of my photos. Here are a few photos from last night:

This is the kids up on stage singing. They had so much fun and knew all the words and all the motions! (the photos didn't turn out the best in the Sanctuary...the lighting wasn't the best...even with my external flash)



This is Zachary and one of his buddies. They were in the same preschool class together last year for part of the year and see each other at church all the time. They were hugging each other and even giving each other kisses on the cheek during the program. Silly boys!



This is Taylor and her two best girlfriends. All 3 were in the same preschool class when they were 2 years old and next year all 3 will be back in the same class together again. It's so fun to see the kids with their little friends and watching them together.



Here are all 4 kids in one of the VBS props. At one point in time, this looked like a science beaker. The theme was "Power Labs." It had a longer tube that was where the kids heads are and it was filled with different colored balloons. The kids decided to all get inside it and stick their heads out the top. So funny!




Today is also the big kit reveal at Moments to Remember!!! The kit this month was awesome. It is Cosmo Cricket and the kit is called, "Fun in the Sun". Here are the layouts I did with the kit.

"Good Day Sunshine" --- The kids out in the backyard playing with their giant beach ball.



"Snuggle Bugs" --- They both love sitting in the chair. Usually they fight over who gets to sit in the chair, but on this day they were both cuddled up together.

"Splash" --- This is Taylor jumping into the pool at the hotel we stayed at in Oklahoma City last weekend. No fear of the water!


"Sunshine" --- This is all 4 of us in Oklahoma City right outside our hotel in Bricktown. So glad that Michael's cousin Lara took the photo...it is rare for us to get photos with all 4 of us in them!



"You Make Me Smile" --- Just the kids being goofy and making silly faces for me. This has become one of the only ways I can get photos of them...if they are making goofy faces at the camera.
