Today was Zachary and Taylor's first day of preschool for the year! This is their second year in the program. There were a few kids from their class last year that are in their class this year. They have 2 new teachers...which took a little...or I guess I should say A LOT of explaining on my part as to why Ms. Jodi and Ms. Jan (their teachers last year) were not there today. I think they had a good day. They played outside some and I know they played with play-doh. Not sure how else they spent their 2.5 hours there. Here are a few pictures:

This was right after we had walked in and they were looking for their cubby's to put their backpacks in.

Here are their backpacks...couldn't resist taking a picture of them side by side...exactly how the kids had thrown them into their places!
The first thing Taylor wanted to do was write her name on the chalkboard. She's getting really good at making the "T' and the "a"...we need to work on the rest. Zachary isn't as interested in writing his name at this point.
This is when we were leaving after their day was over. The moment I said I wanted to take a picture of them with their backpacks on, Taylor flung hers off. She's been quite the "Drama Queen" lately...especially when it comes to taking her picture....what a mood that girl can have!
Zachary walking down the sidewalk. He was really good about it and wanted me to take a picture of him wearing his backpack!
The other thing we did this week was on Thursday, we went to Branson. I wanted to go ahead and buy the kids their Halloween costumes. Zachary has told me for the past 2-3 weeks that he wants to be a Pirate "Arrr Matie!"...that's what he says. So, I found him a cute Pirate costume and now he has informed me that he doesn't want to be a pirate. Hopefully, he will change his mind before Halloween.
Taylor told me from the start that she wanted to be a princess. So, we found her a really pretty Cinderella dress and crown at the Disney store. She would wear the dress day and night if I let her. Here's a picture of her in her dress:
What a little Princess!!!! The skirt part of it is really pretty. It has Cinderella's stagecoach and glass slippers all over it in glitter. Lots of detail to it!
It has been a week of injuries too. We ended up taking Zachary to Urgent Care on Wednesday. He tripped in the bathroom and fell into the side of the toilet. He had a knot half the size of his forehead immediately. It was pretty scary. But, the UC doctor told us that he would be fine and he has been. Then today, Taylor tripped on the area rug in the family room and hit the side of her head on the coffee table. She had a small knot that popped up. I swear I am going to buy stock in bubble wrap and just wrap my whole house in it!
