Christmas day was full of excitement. Thankfully, everyone was feeling well full of energy!
The kids woke up...surprisingly, not real early. They ran out and Taylor immediately latched onto her new American Girl doll. She has brown hair and freckles across her nose (just like Taylor). After much thought, Taylor decided to name her "Cindi"...she liked Cindi with the "i" better than Cindy with a "y."
Zachary stared for a little while at all his loot! He had asked Santa for Lego Power Miners and Santa delivered almost every set that he didn't already have!

After everyone got a good look at what Santa had brought, the kids decided it was time to see what presents mom and dad had bought for them! The unwrapping began!
Both kids got scooters this year...not a real fun present in the winter, but they have both gotten the chance to play on them since Christmas Day.

Zachary ended up with a pretty nice collection of new DSi games. He smiled really big every time he opened up a new game.

Love this picture of Taylor...she is not thrilled with the present of clothes. Bring on the TOYS!

We made both of them wait until Christmas morning to unwrap the present that Uncle Martin and Melinda sent for them. They were very happy to finally get to unwrap and see what was inside! Easy Bake oven and accessories for Taylor and Mighty Beans and a track for Zachary!

Next it was Grandma Susie and Papa Ed's turn to open a few presents. I made them a scrapbook all about our activities of 2010 and they got a new digital photo frame!

Next was Michael's turn to open the present that Zachary had bought him from the holiday shop at school. The gifts that they picked out and bought for us were both precious and hilarious! Michael opened a laser flashlight tool thing that said, "Best Grandpa" on it. Gotta love that!!! Taylor got him a magnet that was a basket of kittens...which is funny too since he really does not like cats!

After all the excited upstairs with the presents under the tree, we almost forgot about the presents waiting downstairs. My mom had found an old Barbie Dream House...you know the good ones from the '80s. It looked almost like the one I had when I was Taylor's age...except mine was orange and red. The one mom found is the pink one. Taylor loved it! I had also found a picture of me playing with it and had propped the picture on the roof so Taylor could see.

Zachary wasn't left out of basement presents. He got several new Wii games.
It was a great Christmas! Can't wait for Christmas 2011!!
