baseball, swimming and scuba diving!

Zachary and Taylor have had quite the summer! I can't believe we are getting close to the end of it. Over the last week, Zachary had his end-of-the-season baseball party...where he earned his first trophy! We went to Oklahoma to visit Michael's grandparents, took the kids to the Ozark Empire Fair and tonight we went to the "Back To School Bash" at Millwood. The kids had fun diving and flipping into the pool and also learning how to scuba dive!

Here are a few (okay...more than just a few) photos of some of our week!

Tonight, we went to Millwood for the "Back to School Bash." It has been a lot of fun to hang out there this summer and the kids have really come a long way with swimming.

Here are a few pics of them jumping off the diving board...

The big fun tonight for them was learning how to scuba dive. There was a scuba diving group at the pool that was teaching the very basics tonight. Of course, the kids were ready to try it out.

Zachary was the first one to give it a try.

This photo is of Zachary under the water with all his scuba gear on.

Next, it was Taylor's turn. I'm pretty sure she would have stayed under water all night if they would have let her. The instructor even commented on how quickly she picked it up and how good she was.

Here's Taylor under the water.

It was a fun night and a fun week! Next week will be an interesting one. Zachary is having his tonsils and adenoids removed on Monday. I'm nervous for him...even though I know that this will make him a much healthier boy, it still makes me nervous. Please keep him in your thoughts for a quick and speedy recovery.
