Getting back into the swing of things!

We were out of town for a few days last week and boy...does it take a few more days once you are home to get things back to normal! I think I am finally caught up with things around the house and at Moments To Remember!!!! Now, I am anxiously awaiting the new goodies from 3 Bugs so I can quickly get a few layouts done for CHA!!!!

So, we were out of town...we left on June 21 to go to Oklahoma to visit some of Michael's relatives. We drove to Stillwater first and met up with his cousin and his family. Here is a layout I just completed today of the kids together at Eskimo Joes! I did this layout for a challenge at M2R. It is based on a Fancy Pants ad. I used Basic Grey Blush for it!!!

The kids had a fun time playing together and were a little crazy running around the tables. At least, but that point, we had the area we were sitting in all to ourselves. It was a lot of fun watching the kids interact and play together. I just wish I had my camera out when they gave each other hugs good-bye.

After lunch, we drove on to Michael's grandparent's house and stayed there through the evening. I really wish that I had gotten my camera out and had taken some pictures of the kids with their great-grandparents and their grandparents. I'm kicking myself for it now.
On Friday, we went to the Oklahoma City Zoo. It is such a fun zoo!!! The kids loved sitting on all the animal statues. Here's a layout that I did of that for another challenge at M2R!!

While at the zoo, we went to the "Fins and Feathers" show. Here are a few pictures from that...Isn't the sea lion just the cutest? We were sitting right in front of one of her podiums, so we got a really up-close look at her!!

After a hot day at the zoo, we took the kids to the pool at the hotel for a very cold swim! I didn't last very long in the pool...but the kids loved it!!! I think their favorite part about being in the pool, was when their daddy put them on his shoulders and then they pushed on his head until he would go under the water. They thought that was great!

On Saturday, we went to Michael's Aunt and Cousin's house to celebrate Molly's 2nd Birthday! It was a great party!! All the kids that were there had a lot of fun and all got along together so well!!! I think the birthday girl had a great 2nd birthday and got a lot of really fun things!!! I'm so glad that we were able to go!!! Here are a few pictures from that day:
Here is my little Prince Charming. The theme for the party was Disney Princess and Lara had bought all the kids crowns or tiaras. Isn't he sooo cute?
Here's my little princess. Funny story about this picture. Everyone gathered around the table to sing "Happy Birthday". Well, Taylor didn't have her princess crown on and Michael tried his best to get it on her head during the song. Well, by the time everyone was finishing up the song, she was just getting her crown on...she got so upset and started crying. So, Lara re-lit the cake and we sang "Happy Birthday" to Molly again so that Taylor could sing and wear her crown at the same time!

Here's the cute little birthday girl!!! Isn't that a gorgeous cake??!!!! It was yummy too!!!!
Last, but not least, here is my reality in about 13 or so more years. This was one of Molly's birthday presents, but you can see who made sure they got their time in her new car! The whole time I was watching them drive it around the backyard together, I just kept thinking how quickly time is going to go by and that before I know it, the two of them will be driving all over the place in a REAL car! Thank goodness, for now, it is just little cars like these!!!
