New photos and layouts!

I just wanted to hop on really quick and show off some photos of the kids at their first gymnastics lesson. It was Tuesday night (Sept. 2). They both did so well. They did everything that the coaches asked of them. We were so amazed by both kids. Zachary did all the jumps on the trampoline and walked perfectly across the balance beam. Taylor was fun to watch. She would study the kids in line before her and watch how they did things and then would do all the moves perfectly. They had one station where it was a bar by the wall. The kids were supposed to walk their feet up the wall and then flip their feet over the bar and do a sort of back flip over the bar. All the kids had to have help from the teacher. When it was Taylor's turn, she looked at the teacher and told her, "No, I can do this on my own." You know what? She did! She did it perfectly too without anyone helping her. I think we have found something that she could do well at...who knows, maybe she will be another Shawn Johnson someday!

Here they are both walking on the balance beam.

Taylor doing a quick somersault!

This was on the parallel bars. The coaches helped them with this. They had them walk with their hands from one side of the bar to the other.

Another thing we did this past week was buy the kids their Halloween costumes. We wanted to go ahead and buy them before the sizes we needed were sold out. Zachary is going to be Buzz Lightyear and Taylor is Sleeping Beauty.

Here are a few new layouts too! The first one is of the kids first day of Pre-K. Used some of my 3 Bugs Chalk Garden papers.

"Friends Make The World A Happy Place": Taylor and one of her little girlfriends. Her friend bought her the t-shirt so they would both be able to wear the same shirt to school. I tried to copy the shirt a little on my layout. The title is what the shirt says.

The kids start swim lessons up again tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see how well they do this time around! I think they will have the same swim coach that they had the last time they took lessons!!
