Today is Zachary and Taylor's 4th birthday!! I can't believe that they are already 4. It just does not seem possible. It's exciting and a little sad at the same time. They are learning and doing so many things, but at the same time, as wonderful as it is that they are growing up, it is sad that they are growing up and becoming "big kids" as they like to say. The last 4 years have really went by so fast and I can't believe next year they will be in Pre-K and then Kindergarten.
Today was a good day. The kids had preschool and I took in a chocolate chip cookie cake for the kids to have to celebrate the big day! I was able to hang out in the class with the kids and take photos.
After school was over, our playgroup met at one of the parks. We stayed until I knew that Michael was home. Then, we left and came home so the kids could get their presents!
When we got home, I think they knew something was up, but weren't sure. I parked the van in the street...which I never do. Then, Michael came out with the videocamera...which he never does when they get home. They asked a lot of "why's". Then, we walked up to the garage and opened the door. Once they finally saw the jeeps inside, they screamed and laughed and were so excited!
We spent pretty much the rest of the day outside playing.
Their birthday party is this Saturday! Should be another fun day!! Can't wait to see what kind of fun party pictures we can get!!!
