Snow!!!

The kids were so excited this morning when they woke up and looked outside and saw all the snow!!! It was the best kind of snow. We got about 6" or so at our house and by this afternoon, it was almost completely melted! Enough to go out, play and have fun and then it is gone! My kind of snow. The kids were disappointed though because today was supposed to be their first day of swim lessons. The lessons were cancelled since the public schools had cancelled today. So, Thursday will be their first day.

Since we weren't able to go to swim lessons, we went outside and played in the snow instead. On our first trip outside, the snow was pretty powdery and hard to do much with. So, they made snow angels in the driveway.

We went back inside for a little while and then the sun came out, so we decided to go back outside and play before it melted. The kids wanted to build a snowman. So, that's what we did!
