Finally Snow!!!!

It snowed today!!! The kids have wanted to go outside and play in the snow all winter long, but until today, we really hadn't had any. It started snowing this morning around 9 a.m. I wanted to paint the hall bathroom, so I told the kids that we would wait a few hours...let it snow and accumulate and then we would go out and play. I had been painting for about an hour and stopped. I looked outside and saw that it had stopped snowing and what little snow that was starting to stick had melted. I felt so bad. I wished I would have taken them out to let them just play in the falling snowflakes.

After we had lunch, it started snowing again and really started coming down. So, I wasted no time this time and got the kids ready and we went outside. There wasn't much snow on the ground, but they had so much fun making snowballs and throwing them at me. They also made snow angels in the driveway and we made a tiny snowman before it was time to go back in. Of course now, there is quite a bit of snow on the ground. Maybe it will still be there when they get out of school tomorrow and they can go play in it some more before it melts.

Here are a few pictures from our day playing in the snow!!

Look at our cute snowman we made!! Not long after this picture was taken, Taylor stomped it to pieces. Maybe we can make another one tomorrow that's bigger than knee-high!

While we were outside playing, I noticed there was a box at the front door. It was the February Valentine papers from Moments To Remember!! As soon as I saw them, I knew what I wanted my first project to be. I made this "XOXO" banner!!! So fun!! I think I am going to try to figure out how to hang it on the mirror over the fireplace.
