Been too long.

I definitely did not mean to let so much time go between posts. Life has been busy and crazy and by the end of the day I am just ready for bed! I'm hoping to do a better job with keeping the blog updated more often.

We had a good weekend. Friday night was my Mother's of Mulitples Halloween Party. The kids had a great time! Before we left for the party, we took the kids out in the front yard and snapped a few photos of them in their costumes. Taylor is Cinderella and has loved her dress since we bought it! Zachary is a pirate and this was the first time we could get him in his costume. Anytime we had wanted him to try it on (just to make sure it fit), he would tell us that he couldn't because it wasn't Halloween. So, when he knew we were going to a Halloween party, he was all excited about finally being able to be a pirate! Here's a photo of both kids in their costumes:

Michael and I were able to get a few photos of us with the kids at the Halloween Party.

On Saturday, the kids were able to paint some pumpkins to decorate the front porch. Maybe next Halloween or the year after that one, I will let them actually help carve a Jack-o-Lantern...but for now, painting is a good, safe option!!!

Zachary really made sure that his pumpkin was really covered in paint! What a cute pumpkin!!

Taylor told us step-by-step as she painted a face on her pumpkin..."Here's one eye....here's another eye...and here's his mouth." That's what she said as she painted his face!! I think she did an awesome job with her pumpkin!!!

On Sunday, we decided to take the kids to the Nature Center to walk the trails. They saw lots of turtles swimming in the pond and walked till they just simply could not walk anymore! The moment they would see a bench, they would have to go lay down on it! Too cute!!!
